In here in 2007, in Quebec and Canada, there
is no law which reconizes the rights of the victims of criminal acts.
The governments support the victims of criminal acts with some services
such as the reimbursement of funeral expenses and or psychotherapy for
those who are admissable.
In this section, victims of criminal acts will find information relative
to the services offered by the Quebec and Canadian governments. Also there
is information about non -governmental organizations who will come to the
aide of victims of criminal acts.
The AFPAD is here to guide you across this administrative maze while
accessing your situation and your particular needs. We will advise you about
the services which are offered and we will explain to you how to access these
services quickly.
The AFPAD will accompany you throughout these steps to research the services.
We will help you during this period where there may be obstacles in your way.
