These funds were created following the death of Isabelle Boisvenu, daughter of PHB, president and founder of the MMPFA.
Isabelle worked closed to her father to put in place the AFPAD and was fully implicated in the financial activities. Because of her sister's murder, she became involved with the mission of the CALACS- Estrie. She, in particular put in place an activity organized by her friends and those of Julie's - the Boisvenu Car Wash. The profits went each year to CALAC - Estrie.
When Isabelle died, the family requested that donations be made to the AFPAD. Close to $20,000.00 were gathered in this way. This fund is the result of donations from people all over Quebec who support the cause of the AFPAD. Furthermore, activities such as the March 10th, 2007 show that included Dan Bigras and Laurence Jalbert helped with the growth of the fund.
The Board of Directors of the AFPAD together created the Isabelle Boisvenu Funds.
These funds are earmarked to students who are furthering their education in victimology and also to researchers who by their work will improve knowledge in the field of victims of criminal acts and public security particularly for women.
The AFPAD will give out each year two bursaries between $3,000.00 - $5,000.00.

These funds were created following the implication of an agricultural producer in the Asbestos region. Wanting to help our organization and build awareness to the AFPAD, Michel Gagné organized an auction where he invited local sponsors and citizens to participate. Following this event he gave the AFPAD a cheque for $15,000.00.
The Board of Directors took the decision to create a fund to help the families with their immediate needs. Funds also result from financing activities organized by the different regional ''Antenne du Québec''. On April 14th, 2007, the Québec ''Antenne'' organized an activity which yielded over $14,000.00.
These funds will pay for a part of the funeral costs, cleaning up a murder scene and for support for the families.
